acs to Show Downdraught Filter bench Technology at Composites Engineering 2013

At the Composites Engineering Show from the 12th to 13th November on Stand C102, Air Cleaning Systems (acs), will be highlighting the benefits of its FB range of downdraught filter benches for the removal of particulate and odour. Designed specifically as an ergonomic and practical solution for removing airborne fumes and dust generated by linishing, sanding, finishing, de-burring, polishing and gluing operations.

For visitors to the Composites Engineering Show, acs will be highlighting the benefits of is FBS seated downdraught bench. During operation the component can be held over or placed onto the worktop and the dust that arises will be drawn downward through the bench into filters. The base of the bench incorporates an inverter controlled fan assembly that discharges the clean air at the bottom of the bench. The innovative inverter system on the FB range of benches controls the air flow rate as well as offering the opportunity to save energy when using the bench at lower operational speeds.

The FBS seated downdraught bench will highlight the energy saving features and benefits of the filter bench range as well as showing practical storage ideas and lighting options to use in conjunction with the bench, to provide a self contained work station solution.

As standard the FBS bench incorporates a ventilated worktop and a G4 grade filter that is securely clamped into place to eliminate any potential contaminant bypass. A filter gauge with filter 'full' indicator gives user an accurate indication of when a filter change is required.

Further extending the ease of use and low maintenance attributes of the FB range of downdraught benches, these units are supplied with a 3m cable and plug for 'plug and play' operation as well as lock and swivel castors to enable the bench to be moved from one location to another with simplicity.

All downdraught benches in the acs FB range can be tailored to the exact demands of the end user with the option of HEPA filters, overhead lighting, uprights to the rear of the bench to support shelving and bin storage, spot extraction via an articulated arm and even perforated or non-perforated rubber matting for the worktop surface.
