Compact yet on a large scale

At the Technology Days in Chemnitz, Starrag unveiled its new Heckert H100 compact machining centre to the public for the first time. With a pallet size of 1m, it will replace the previous Heckert HEC 1000 4-axis centre.

With the new Heckert H50 to H100 compact machines, Starrag continues the success story of the Heckert HEC series. The new machining centres provide maximum precision, performance, and speed in minimal space while preserving the long-term quality characteristic of Heckert machines.

This also applies to the Heckert H100, which has dimensions of 8,900mm by 4,600mm and enables travel paths of 1,750 by 1,300 by 1,400mm in the X, Y and Z axes. As an option, the Y-travel can be extended up to 1,400mm, and the Z-travel can be extended up to 1,800mm. The displacement circle diameter is 2m.

The Heckert H100 is suitable for large parts. With a loading weight of 4,000kg, it is also suitable for heavy parts that would otherwise have to be machined on a large machining centre. In many respects, the new Heckert H100 compact machine is even better than its predecessor, the HEC 1000. It is easier to automate, thanks to extended clamping hydraulics and simplified interfaces with pallet storage systems and robot cells. Improved integration into the customer's infrastructure has also been considered, featuring central connections for technological cold water, cooling lubricant, and data exchange. Additionally, there is a larger selection of spindles.

The new Heckert H100 compact machining centre offers tailor-made solutions for highly productive machining, particularly in commercial vehicles and high-precision mechanical engineering.
