Ellesco Employs New General Manager

Deburring, Finishing and Polishing specialists Ellesco are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Guy Newton as its new General Manager. As the UK dealers for the world's leading deburring and surface finishing machine tools such as Timesavers, Kuhlmeyer, Autopulit and Sugino, the Christchurch company has appointed Mr Newton to review all aspects of the business and deliver growth and enhanced market presence for the business with a fresh and modern approach.

Since joining the company, Mr Newton has worked to support the modernising and streamlining of the business, enhancing the sales and service operation as well as driving the company's extensive consumable range into the marketplace. The appointment of Mr Newton, who has strong managerial and operational experience, will enable company owner Mr Vincent Simonis to develop the robotic, subcontract and consumable divisions of the South Coast company.

Commenting upon his appointment, Mr Newton says: "Ellesco is an established brand with 40 years experience of supplying industry leading machine tools, servicing and consumables for the surface preparation and finishing industries. With over 2,500 machine installations in the UK, our aim is to show our strong customer base, and the whole UK market, how our latest technologies, consumable products and service contracts can improve productivity, quality and above all reduce operational costs for the end users."
