With MACH 2016 fast approaching, Hone-All Precision Ltd will be demonstrating how its ability to offer a completely diverse manufacturing service has given the Leighton Buzzard business the X-Factor through a challenging economic period.
On Stand 5488, the premiere subcontract manufacturer for the Oil & Gas industry will be highlighting how its combination of investment in new deep hole boring technology and the manufacturing expertise of its staff have enabled the company to successfully diversify during a prolonged period of consolidation in the oil & gas sector. Over the last 18 months, word of Hone-All's established reputation within in the oil & gas industry for delivering uncompromising levels of quality and service has reached the marine and hydraulics sectors.
Whilst business outside its niche offshore sector has grown, the company has also noted an in-flux of business from long established customers that were previously tempted by low-cost alternatives. As Company Director, Andrea Rodney comments: "During an unprecedented period of stagnation in the off-shore sector, businesses under price-pressure were enticed to trial low-cost alternatives. The sour taste of inferior quality has seen many manufacturers re-establish their business with Hone-All."
As well as educating the market as to why it should be investing in Hone-All's unique subcontract service, the Bedfordshire company will be promoting the additional capacity of its two new TIBO Tiefbohrtechnik deep hole boring machines that were acquired in 2015. The two machines have increased capacity and extended Hone-All's maximum boring capacity to 250mm with a length of 3.1m. The addition of the new deep hole boring machines is the perfect complement to the company's 4m turning capacity.
The combination of new plant and a swelling order book generated by Hone-All's ability to successfully diversify has seen the company strengthen its night shift to support the growing demand from customers.
