ITC Posts Record Results With Experienced Staff

In October, Industrial Tooling Corporation (ITC) posted its end of 2013-14 financial accounts by marking another record year. At the end of year sales conference, the Tamworth based cutting tool specialist made it a double celebration by presenting gifts to four members of staff that have all reached the landmark of 20 years of service.

The company has achieved a growth rate in the region of 10-15% year on year since the recession and this has been credit to the investment in technology, development of new cutting tool innovations and above all, the staff commitment. The four staff that have achieved 20 years of service are Mr Simon Horseman, Sally Hunt, Gary Heaney and Lisa Bates.

Commenting upon the four employees reaching 20 years of service, ITC's Managing Director, Mr Peter Graves comments: "We are extremely proud of our very low turnover of staff. At ITC, we have created an excellent working environment where staff are encouraged to be creative, innovate and demonstrate their individualism and talents. By nurturing and rewarding the dedication and knowledge of our staff, the company has thrived. The four members of staff that have hit the 20 year landmark, all work in different departments and capacities - this indicates that each department within the company has unsurpassed expertise and industry knowledge. It also highlights that staff in all departments have high morale and these attributes are the bedrock of our success."

Enthusing about the dedication of his staff, Mr Graves concludes: "We have always invested in the latest technology and this ensures our staff, as well as our product lines are at the cutting edge of technology. Whilst pushing the boundaries of cutting tool technology, we have been fortunate enough to have a team that want to progress their career and educational development through creating groundbreaking products. I'm extremely proud of the service and dedication of our four team members that has been celebrated by this presentation. However, I'm also proud of all our long serving staff that have shown remarkable dedication and commitment down the years. By recently employing two school leavers as apprentices, I am sure this legacy will continue for years to come."
