ITC Supplies Diamond Tooling and Service Levels at MACH 2012
29 February 2012
At MACH 2012, Industrial Tooling Corporation (ITC) will once again be highlighting its credentials as a market leading manufacturer of cutting tools for hard and abrasive materials with the launch of its new 4121 Cyber Series of diamond coated end mills. On Stand 5847 at MACH, customers can witness the performance and capability levels of this new series of square end four flute end mills first hand.
Produced from a high quality sub-micron grade carbide, the new solid carbide end mills have an optimal geometry design and diamond coating that work in harmony to provide unrivalled tool life and performance levels on abrasive and difficult to machine materials such as graphite, carbon fibre and aluminium alloys. Already proving a major success with performance and cost conscious OEM customers, the 4121 range incorporates a 30 degree right hand spiral, centre cutting and facet relief to give the end user results that are measurably improved against competitors indexable insert tooling.
The 4121 Series is available in 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16 and 20mm diameters with a cutting length 10,14, 16, 19, 21, 22, 25, 32 and 40mm respectively. With an overall length from 40 to 100mm, the rigid and robust design has been optimised to maximise performance in respect of productivity and tool life. The new 4121 series can improve tool life and productivity by over 40% in most abrasive material machining applications.
The customer can be confident of the high quality levels of this new range that has been developed and manufactured in the UK, an aspect that enables ITC to offer next day delivery for this series.
