Leader CNC Announces Open House Dates

Following the successful launch of a number of new machine tool innovations at EMO from Kitamura, Leader CNC has announced it will be holding an open house event at its Nuneaton headquarters from the 5th to the 7th of November. The purpose of the event will be to promote the new 'G' range of machines from the leading Japanese machine tool manufacturer.

The new machines to be shown in the UK for the first time will be the Kitamura HX250G2, the M-4XD and the M-4XT. These machines will be exhibited alongside the renowned HX250G and Mytrunnion 1. The new products will be accompanied by turning centres from DMC; with the DMC 8T and DMC 22LMR linear guide and box way machines on show.

The new M-4XT is an affordably packed 5-axis trunnion type VMC with a host of features that include a dual contact spindle, rigid solid boxway construction, a built in 4th/5th axis trunnion table, high speed rapids of 36m/min, internal chip augers and scraper type chip conveyor and through spindle coolant facility. All this is delivered with the power, precision and productivity that Kitamura has become renowned for. The M-4XD that will appear alongside the trunnion machine is a cost effective 3-axis centre that provides precision and productivity in an economical package.

Regarded as one of the fastest machine tools in its category, the Mytrunnion 1, 5-axis VMC will be demonstrating its 36m/min rapid feed that covers the 310 by 510 by 460mm X, Y an Z axes and tool change times of 1.1seconds. With an optional spindle speed of up to 30,000rpm, a positional accuracy of +/- 1 micron and repeatability of +/- 0.5 microns, the Mytrunnion is considered the fastest and most accurate machine in its category.
From Kitamura's stable of horizontal machining centres, Leader CNC will be highlighting the capabilities of the HX250G and HX250G2. With impressive sales of the HX250G in the UK, the new HX250G2 is an upgraded version with 30,000rpm HSK spindle as standard for high speed machining applications. Suitable for machine shops striving to be the benchmark in productivity, the new HX250G is a machine not to be missed.
