Leader CNC Extends Machine Range With New Agency Agreement

To further extend its product portfolio and provide a complete range of machine tool solutions, Leader CNC Technologies has now become the exclusive UK & Ireland distributor for Gruppo Parpas. The exciting range of high quality machine tools from Gruppo Parpas is renowned for its diversity, which makes it the ideal choice for manufacturers specialising in the aerospace, mould & die, power generation, automotive and general manufacturing sectors.

Adding to the already extensive range of machine tools from Leader CNC that includes turning and machining centres, grinding machines and borers from prestigious manufacturers such as Toshiba Machine, Kitamura, KDM, GER, DMC and FAT Haco; Leader CNC is particularly excited by the potential of the table type horizontal machining centres and 5-axis machining centres from Gruppo Parpas. The rigid and robust line of Italian built machines now enables Leader CNC to provide and support any type of CNC machine tool for the highly productive and precision machining of prismatic or rotational parts for all industry sectors.

Since its inception in 1951, Gruppo Parpas has built an enviable pedigree in the design and manufacture of medium to large CNC machine tools; a pedigree that now makes it a leading supplier of sophisticated 5-axis machines.

The Gruppo Parpas Group consists of three subsidiaries that all have product and industry specialisations that Leader CNC will fully exploit to provide bespoke solutions for its customers. With a focus on the Mould & Die sector, Parpas Spa has created a line of gantry type 5-axis machining centres and horizontal boring machines that incorporate automatic attachment changers and a list of patents that are specific to controlling thermal growth and accuracy. This ensures the Parpas line delivers remarkable precision and repeatability that is built upon a robust design that offers the utmost in flexibility and productivity.

Added to this unsurpassed build quality, the second subsidiary within the group, OMV, has been developing column machines for over 40 years. What this brings to the Gruppo Parpas line is the integration of high quality linear drives, elevating tables and high speed machining capability to an already formidable brand. Complementing this integration, the third member of the Group is FAMU, a manufacturer of rotary tables, attachments, tool carousels and other ancillary equipment. The incorporation of FAMU into the Gruppo Parpas Group brings expertise in conceptual and detailed design that permits the development of bespoke machine tools that are configured to meet specific applications and requirements of the end user.

Working with complete synergy under the Gruppo Parpas umbrella, the three divisions offer the technical excellence, pedigree and experience that enables Gruppo Parpas to deliver one of the most diverse and high quality machine tools lines in the industry. Furthermore, this product line diversity has been proven to be the benchmark in machine tools for aerospace and mould & die specific applications. Manufactured to an impeccably high standard for long term operation and process stability and reliability, Leader CNC is excited with the potential for these machines in the UK marketplace.

As Leader CNC's Sales Director, Mr Mike Serzeniewski comments: "We are extremely excited by the opportunities the Gruppo Parpas line offers Leader CNC. The product line-up is very comprehensive and diverse, so the new range will complement our already diverse product range. At Leader CNC, we are recognised as a leading supplier of high quality machines that are backed up with service and support that is the envy of the marketplace. We believe that the broad range of products from the Gruppo Parpas range will enable us to offer unique solutions that are beyond the scope of many alternate machine tool vendors."
