Nederman Has a Blast With Summer Offer
4 June 2015
Always looking to improve the working environment, reduce environmental impact and increase efficiency, Nederman is now introducing its Suction Blaster 750 (SB750), which has been designed to provide dust free removal of surface coatings such as rust, old paint and welding scale. For a limited period customers can purchase this impressive mobile blasting machine with the added incentive of a free Nederman C20 power cable hose reel.
The benefits of blasting as a surface treatment preparation are widely acknowledged. Blasting can also offer better accessibility to complex components than is possible with many hand preparation tools, accessibility that is enhanced with the SB750 by the availability of various accessory nozzles that keep the process contained and the surrounding area dust free.
There is also a variety of blasting media available to suit the individual application, with aluminium silicate and glass beads being most commonly used. Aluminium silicate media is primarily used for cleaning steel, glass and ceramics prior to surface treatment and is frequently used in the automotive body-shop sector. Glass beads have a high impact resistance and are generally applied to remove rust, scale and paint from glass, aluminium and stainless steel without cutting into the underlying surface.
Completely mobile, flexible and economical, the SB750 is ideal for applications in a wide range of industry sectors and processes such as automotive, welding & fabricating, construction and general manufacturing. The ability to economically service a diverse application range makes the SB750 the tool of choice for industry. From an economical perspective, the blasting material is recycled and used many times before it is replaced, and the SB750 ensures that no dust or blasting material is released into the workplace, keeping cleaning and maintenance costs to a minimum. Before the air is re-circulated, the SB750 separates the dust from the blasting material and captures the particles in a filter unit to reduce maintenance and downtime.
The compact design and the large wheels make the unit easy to handle and its compact dimensions of 340 by 400mm by 1050mm high, provide a powerful and light design that is easily manoeuvred around the workshop. With an overall weight of 14kg, the 230V unit has an air consumption of 500 litres/min with a maximum air pressure of 8bar.
If you order your SB750 by the 31st August 2015, you will also receive the Nederman C20 power cable reel as part of the limited period offer. The C20 is a high-quality power cable reel with a robust design including high-impact composite material casing. The retractable cable has an optimised spring force and ball bearings that ensure the 12m cable retracts smoothly, easily and evenly onto the drum.
