OPEN MIND Employs Two New Application Engineers

OPEN MIND Technologies has expanded its team with the appointment of two new application engineers. The appointments proved very timely with both new engineers joining prior to the MACH show, giving the new starters an opportunity to meet new and existing customers and discuss their requirements at the show.

The appointments follow an exceptional growth period for the industry leading CAM Software company and will enable OPEN MIND to enhance its support network for the rapidly expanding customer base. One of the new starters, Mr James Mitchell has a huge level of experience with over 8 years working as a CAM Application Engineer. This was preceded by a number of years working as a CNC machinist. Working out of Wigan, James will be covering the northern territory from Birmingham up to Scotland. The appointment of James is a valuable addition to the OPEN MIND team and he will undoubtedly prove an asset to customers in the north of the UK and Scotland.

The second appointment of Mr Jon Shortt has been created to enhance support for OPEN MIND's customer base in the Midlands and the South of the UK. Like James Mitchell, Jon has extensive manufacturing experience with a background that includes working as a CAD/CAM support engineer with a renowned race engine manufacturer.
