Tungaloy UK Moves To New Facility

Since globally renowned cutting tool manufacturer Tungaloy Corporation opened its UK subsidiary in 2010, the appeal for the high quality Japanese manufactured cutting tools has been phenomenal. To meet the growth demands of the business and accommodate the increasing requirements from UK customers, Tungaloy UK has now moved to a new facility on the University of Wolverhampton Science Park.

The strategic decision to move to the nationally recognised Science Park has been a masterstroke for the rapidly expanding company. Commenting upon the move, Tungaloy UK's Managing Director, Mr. Michael Roach says: "Our business is growing at an exceptional rate. To support this growth we have moved to the University of Wolverhampton Science Park as it will enable us to engage with the technology and innovation resources of the University whilst delivering first class facilities for our business and customers. For example, we have access to a 200 seat auditorium that has already been utilised to conduct customer training and sales seminars. There is access to video conferencing, photography studios and catering facilities that enhance our operation.”

"Furthermore, we have the opportunity to network and generate a transfer of knowledge with prominent bodies such as the local Chamber of Commerce, the Wolverhampton University Engineering Department and the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) that are all located on our site. Additionally, we are situated close to a number of major road routes and airports that provides our staff with swift access to our expanding customer base.”

The University of Wolverhampton Science Park has become home for around 100 businesses working in a broad range of technological and creative disciplines including software development, environmental management, engineering design and consultancy, photography and videography, graphics, website design, water technology, training and education, biocidal coatings, healthcare and business support services. This will offer Tungaloy UK numerous opportunities to support its growth as the business continues to expand and flourish.
