Zopo Makes UK Premiere at Southern Manufacturing
17 December 2025
Dugard will introduce the Zopo brand to UK manufacturers for the first time at a UK exhibition when it presents the V11B vertical machining centre at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2026. From the 3rd to the 5th of February at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre, Dugard will present the Zopo brand on Stand G310, and experts will be on hand to discuss the extensive range of solutions from Hanwha, SMEC and Chevalier.
The Zopo V11B on the stand at Southern represents an exciting addition to Dugard's diverse portfolio of CNC machine tools and provides UK manufacturers with a cost-effective solution for high-rigidity machining applications. With over 10,000 units sold globally, the V11B has established itself as a proven platform for manufacturers seeking reliable performance without compromising on quality or capability.
Engineered with a unique arc-shaped base design developed through finite element analysis, the V11B delivers exceptional rigidity compared to alternative machines in its class. This advanced structural design, combined with internal reinforcement ribs, enables the machine to maintain astounding accuracy and stability during demanding heavy-duty cutting. The machine's large-span base structure incorporates two 45mm roller linear guideways, providing outstanding load-bearing capacity that supports workpiece weights up to 900kg whilst meeting the rigorous demands of heavy-duty machining.
The V11B features a direct-coupled spindle system, and this design approach improves processing efficiency and quality, extends tool life through reduced vibration, and lowers overall machining costs. The 11/15kW direct spindle operates at speeds up to 12,000rpm with a BT40 taper, whilst the 24-position tool magazine enables rapid 2.5-second tool changes to minimise non-productive time.
With generous axis travels of 1100 by 610 by 630mm in the X, Y and Z-axes and a substantial 610mm by 1.3m worktable, the V11B provides the working envelope required for medium to large component production. Rapid traverse rates of 36/36/32m/min in X,Y and Z axes ensure efficient positioning between operations, whilst the maximum feed rate of 12m/min supports productive material removal rates.
Colin Thomson, Sales Director at Dugard, commented: "We're delighted to be introduce the Zopo brand to UK manufacturers with the UK exhibition premiere at Southern Manufacturing. The Zopo brand exemplifies Dugard’s commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective machining solutions that don't compromise on capability or reliability. With over 10,000 units sold worldwide, the V11B has a proven track record, and we're confident it will resonate with UK manufacturers seeking productive, dependable vertical machining centres that deliver excellent value. Since representing the brand in the UK earlier this year, we have already made a significant number of sales, and customers are reporting impressive performance, build quality and productivity rates. The addition of Zopo to Dugard's portfolio further strengthens the company's ability to provide comprehensive CNC solutions for manufacturers across all scales and budgets.”
Visitors to Southern Manufacturing & Electronics can see the Zopo V11B demonstrated on Stand G310 from 3rd to 5th February 2026 at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre. Dugard's experienced sales team will be available throughout the show to discuss individual manufacturing requirements and machine specifications.
